Zero Depreciation Insurace Claim Query

Hello everyone,

I am new user. Here in forum as well of a car.
I got a Maruti Suzuki Swift Vxi model car on 2nd July 2014. I had a zero dep insurance for my car. Unfortunately, my car met an accident in which front right got damaged. I claimed insurance and the dealer in maruti asked me to pay 1000 INR initially but then asked for 4000 INR more. I was told that insurance does not cover the 'fog lamp' and rest accessories. At the time of insurance, I was told that the zero dep is type of insurance in which only 1000 INR has to paid for any issue.
So I would like to know that is there any possibility that dealer fooled me???

As of your doubt, Electronic accessories will not be covered on any claims. Zero depriciation claim is that they wont depricate the value of claimable parts. So i hope the billing would b correct anyways just brief your Bill for detailed review
