Epic. The race would have finished by the time car left the pitstop if they were still doing it at 1950's pace. I had to pause the video to notice how exactly it happened.

Wish they had not banned refueling!
That would have brought the element of strategy into play. I remember how Ross Brawn was brilliant at it giving Ferrari dominance over Mc Laren.

Fuel too much & you get heavy loosing time on track.
Fuel too less means you come in more maybe loosing more time than you made up on track
And if you got it right,the safety car can spoil your routine.

Nowdays its only 2 sec tire changes kinda takes out the strategy involved.

The differences were in miles. 1.9 Seconds is a great achievement by Redbull Team. I think Mercedes were the second best team in the Pits last year.

This is called as SMED techniques. Initially started in Leading Car Manufacturer in Ford after the world war.

SMED means Single Minute Exchange of Dies in manufacturing to improve the productivity in mass production of car which Ford started first.
