Chevrolet's Spin (Ertiga Competitor)

With the launch of the Maruti's Ertiga in India and the success it made( 35,000 booking) has forced many company to think about this segment.Chevrolet is jumping into this mini MPV segment by planning to introduce the Spin in our market.The new mini van from GM is known as Spin.The Chevrolet Spin will be powered by Econo Flex 1.8-litre engine which will produce 130 HP.

The spy shots taken in Brazil by Noticias Automotivas shows that the car is a seven seater.The front portion of the car looks really good.The car is most likely to be introduce in 2014.The pricing expected to be around Rs 8 lakh.

Officially it has not been revealed but it is expected that GM will bring it in 2014

It looks like a lift off from the Ertiga. And a 1.8lt engine 130bhp???? Hell this won't be competing with Ertiga at least on the price front.

I guess if it has to come to India, It will undergo so many cost cuts.... blah... 130 HP wont last for sure.
