| re: Supreme Court’s Order – No Sunfilms Allowed from 4th May 2012 Judgement .Doc on Pg.8 yesterday we going to thiruthani, after crossing metro rail near koyambedu police station lot of police were standing and checking for cars with dark tints. My son told me that and then we rolled down the windows till we cross them.
I know this is bad example to my son, but Iam very sure whom ever appealed on this is going to win and all this nonsense are going to roll back. I have tried not to take my car as much as possible in day time. Mostly traveling to company by company bus reach home only in the evening.
if at all we use car only in the evenings. so till now no problem. Hope I would be manage like this for another month. |

| re: Supreme Court’s Order – No Sunfilms Allowed from 4th May 2012 Judgement .Doc on Pg.8 Last week I went on a self drive tour to Sikkim, starting from my home in Calcutta. As I decided to go through a deviated route (Via Calcutta-Dumka-Bhagalpur-Purnea-Siliguri), which covered two states of Jhakhand and Bihar, I decided to remove all sunfilm from my car. Strangely I found many cars in these two states have not bothered to comply with the relevant Supreme Court's order. And now after returning I find that the summer heat has become unbearable and the car is taking more time to cool down. The comfort level is naturally low. I also see that the police are not taking very action against any car here, at least if someone is not using very dark film or the transparency is satisfactory. May not I now use the permitted sunfilms, which has "approved by motor vehicles department" sticker pasted on it? |

As per the law its a total no no. Unless its something that came as OE.
Rest is your call. |

| re: Supreme Court’s Order – No Sunfilms Allowed from 4th May 2012 Judgement .Doc on Pg.8 @AppU: This is what it reads: "Further black films on glasses have been banned, but coloured glasses complying to (70%) front & (50%) side visibility are allowed."
This means, only factor fitted tinted glasses are allowed. |

| re: Supreme Court’s Order – No Sunfilms Allowed from 4th May 2012 Judgement .Doc on Pg.8 All rules turn out to be against simple public. Why doesn't Supreme court enforce laws against corruption? And if they exist, why doesn't the authorities like Police follow them with full energy like they are doing now for this foolish rule? Is there a data which states the number of private cars with sun films were involved in crime? And come on, how hard is to install the sun films again for the criminals, if they really want to do something with that. It just takes 30 minutes.
So much loss of business for those which feed on the sun film business. "Bus sabko humari jeb se paisa nikaalne ka bahaana chahiye". The money which is already there doesn't come back. What does Supreme court do get all the black money back to India? Nothing because, those are big people and they don't want to become enemies with big people. People like us can't do anything so, we will be punished only. |
