These two are real competitors hence want to compare them

Brio
Power (PS@rpm) 88@6000
Tyres 175/65 R 14

i10
Power (PS@rpm) 80@6000
Tyres 155/80 R13

i10 ABS/Airbags version is 30k costlier than Brio.

So what will you choose?

Re: Honda Brio 1.2 Vs I10 1.2

This is going to be a tough call; both the cars compete neck to neck with each other. While the Honda Brio sounds like an overall exciting package, but look-wise i10 seems to be pick of the lot. I would like to hold my opinion unless I check out the Brio in person. How about including the Etios Liva as well?

Re: Honda Brio 1.2 Vs I10 1.2

I voted for Brio but I think picking any one of the above car will be affected by family influence etc.

From my experience, I have noticed that i10 is quite a hit among the fairer sex. Its cute looks, super light steering and good quality + feature packed interiors are the strong points from a lady/girl's POV. Brio's refined engine, superior power to weight ratio, handling, aggressive looks, safety features may not cut much ice with them.

(However it is as per my experience only and I have not intention to belittle any gender :))

So if one has to pick a all round family car, then he or she still might go with i10. But for enthusiasts like us, I guess Brio will trump i10.

Lets see how the market will react to this war.

With Brio, we can be assured of a good FE. Wider body and 14" tyres versus narrow body and smaller tyres of i10 makes Brio a good ride. My vote to Brio.

It is Japan Vs Korea fighting for Indians to buy their products[clap].But putting a v-tec in 1.2L is very much appreciated because it appeals a lot for younger generation and people can enjoy being an owner of an Honda!
