even people are not ready to beleive that this is a new vehicle all together (85% new parts)...Huuuffffff
Lets see how long Tata will allow Mahindra to gain on XUV 500 by not launching this vehicle...
Yep a lot of questions have been answered and some are still to be found. The Questions that Have Been Answered
Q.1- Is it a facelift or a new platform?
Ans-- All new Aria X2 platform with 85% parts new, so qualifies as Gen 2 Safari even though average joe may not fathom the difference.
Q.2- Will it be a softroader if it uses Aria platform?
Ans-- Hell no, with ground clearance of 200 mm and low ratio 4x4 gearbox it is still " Make your own road" kinda vehicle.
Q.3- Will it have rear disc brakes?
Ans-- Yes rear disc brakes with single pot caliper.
Q.4- Will it look quirky and ugly?
Ans-- The looks really came as surprise to me, I thought the car would look ugly from the front and stale from the back, but surprise surprise Tata once again proved that their designs are " classy, stylish and beautiful" as against " ugly, over-board and mis- mash". The Questions which still need to be answered
1. The launch date?
2. The final spec?
3. The pricing and positioning?
4. Will classic Safari survive?
5. The engine performance?
6. Ride and handling?
Lets wait to see what happens, sigh .... they say," Patience Runs Thin".
