My brother just picked up a duster (woodland Brown) and its a good softroader, but if you compare the rear seat comfort with safari/Storme, the safari/storme comes out on top. IMHO theres nothing that quite compares to it below the 24 L range. The only one that comes close to it is the x-trail which is above the 25 l range.

I have the biggest problem with this steering issue and am not going to be buying the storme cos of this.
Lemme explain -
I'm 5'7.5", and on the heavier side of things. When i sit in the storme and adjust the seat to optimum driving position, my thighs dont come in contact with the steering either. It happens only when i start to drive, When i release the clutch, my thigh comes up and then i have to move it on to the side towards the dashboard to prevent contact with the steering wheel. Most ppl may be doing that and it may be a driving habit, but for me its a lil different. I move my legs up and not a lil laterally. Hence this problem.
Also, in case i change shoes to formals (with less heel - as i normally use rugged shoes which have a significant platform for the big treads) then i need to move the seat closer to the dash, and then comes the really big problem.
My opinion, tall ppl may not have as much of a problem as shorter ppl because of the seat getting pushed back.
