A very Good Morning to All TAI
Would like to Address few Issues:
1.) Knee Touching the Stearing Wheel:
Just look at the Auto Expo 2012 Pic, this clearly shows that knee does touch the stearing wheel only when one tries to sit in way that he is sitting on a sofa, but once you put your feet onto the pedals than its fine, no touchy touchy feeling.
2.) 15 Lac for Storme Vx 4x4???? Is it justified???
Before sealing the deal, ask the following questions from your goodself and decide.
a.) Whether you will take your 15L vehicle to extreme off roading conditions?
b.) How many times a year you would like to go to areas like extremes of Laddakh region or spiti region or would like to take a short cut to GATA LOOPS or do a river crossing (not a stream) or do Ice Skating in your vehicle?
c.) Will i do only off roading or primarlily it would be a street car and occasinaly i'll do above mentioned things.
If your answer is positive in all the above questions than please dont look anywhere (if you have only a budget of 15-16L) else as there is no other vehicle which can provide you comfort, look on regular roads and enough capabilites on Off Road conditions.
XUV or Aria AWD: Both of them are great cars on normal roads as well as on semi off road contiditions (like a bit of sand, snow, ice, slush or steep gravel filled inclines) but on actual off road conditions they are not a worthy competetor to LSD capable vehicle like Scorpio 4x4 or Storme 4x4.
Now big question: DO I need to buy 4x4 vehicle: Well if an Innova, Linea, Aria, Scorpio, Swift, Laura, Nano and other 4x2 vehicles can do Delhi Leh Delhi track without getting struck anywhere enroute than its better to stick to 4x2 storme only but if you want to explore area beyond the road less travelled than 4x4 is the right choice for you.
