Maruti Suzuki has announced new packages in extended warranty ,earlier it was 2 years standard and 3rd&4th year were optional.Now this has been extended to 3rd,4th and 5th year.
Don't know whether existing customers can avail the same.

Its a late move, but indeed a good one, by our top selling manufacturer. Even though, it could have been higher, as competitors are giving even longer warranties, still this is a move in the right direction.

I checked the price list and in the price list they have mentioned separate rates for cars aged 0-60 days, 60-365 days and 365-730 days. So it looks like the cars which are under warranty, which are under 2 years old can avail this extension. I don't think it is applicable for cars more than two years old, but are still under the earlier extended warranty programmes.

Are you sure about whether 2 year old owners ,having existing extended warranty can't extend it ?
