What is there any advantage in such online booking just like any other consumer good purchase. Any way most people opt for a test drive before buying a car even in online booking you have to go to showroom to take delivery of car. So unless the car manufacturer passes some dealer commission as incentive to the buyer for online booking i feel this would not be attractive,

Advantage is I guess in the case popular models instead of being Mercy of dealer I guess allocation will be done in a more transparent manner.
