What explains Vento losing out to Rapid on a consistent basis? Vento after a long while is out sold by Rapid and really struggling? I guess it would be difficult for Vento to be sustainable.

Hexagonal has a bang on start. The future depends on the feedback from customers.

Great start for ignis midas touch should be renamed with maruti car launch.

Hexa seems to be promising. Tiago getting numbers for tata
Hexa cannabalising storme? I guess so.

Fortuner is again king of road. Price increase have no effect on Toyota.

whers the maruti going? with a lion share of 50+%.

significant jump in celerio figures 10 k+,also diesel variants discontinued, may be pushing to dealers for some production realignment.

ciaz going strong with SHVS tax saver push, Hope city regains its crown for ever with the upcoming facelift.

Ertiga is the 2nd best selling UV after bolero, the uncertainity around bigger diesels making Ertiga dearer to cabbies, no serious threats :mobilio not able to use this advantage, tavera, sumo, xylo also dying.

ignis @ 4800 where did the no.s came from ? cant see anyone dropping even the grand i10 no.s increased further, baleno too unaffected

dzire continues to rule ! Tiago sedan could do some magic?

what are the upcoming complete new cars from maruti? other than facelifts & replacements to existing ones like swift, ertiga, ciaz & dzire?

Thanks for the data.
Now, I know why Honda is coming out with a new City variant. They are feeling the heat from Ciaz!!

Cheers,
Me and my friends travelled in Ciaz and found it NOT AT ALL comfortable.

And if it is actually giving City a tough time, it proves that people buy anything with Maruti badge in India.

P.S: When Ciaz reached 100 KMPH, the steering was vibrating like my old Maruti 800's and I felt car is very light weight.

The decline of the Nano stumps me- seems well sorted now-why the fall in sales?
At the same time the Creta, wish though well made is fairly expensive sells 7000 +?
The mystery to me is that the consumer seems to figure out value for money better than many car enthusiasts ( me predominantly) [cry]

I don't know why, but after seeing Honda introduce AT in their top variant - Hyundai may just want to introduce Creta Petrol AT in their top variant too!!
