Honda India will launch the 2017 City in January 2017.

Teaser clips of the New City has been officially released in Thailand.

The main change will be to the City’s face, which will now adopt the look of the latest Civic. The images show a chrome strip on the top edge of the headlamp cluster and gentle L-shaped LED position lamps that follow after the FC Civic.

This looks to be inspired from the Civic. I for once feel the front is much better now. That moustache grill was hideous to say the least. Hope they do not price it out of reach in the name of premium pricing

I didn't like the front looks. The earlier generation looked better. The new stop lamp is a welcome addition though.

Re: New Honda City To Launch in Jan 2017

waiting for final product.
10mm+ ground clearance from current model is a good upgrade
headlights looks good, but slim front chrome is not looking good, empty space is too much under chrome.

Silver lining looks beautiful under chrome bar

Headlights changed, I guess we can not install these new headlights on 2016 model City

Re: New Honda City To Launch in Jan 2017

Thanks Atulmigo for sharing the price. I am looking at the V variant and it currently is less than 10 lakh price point. Hence less tax. But I am really interested in what is getting added to the V to warrant almost 1 lakh increase in price. I am pretty sure all the projector and DRL are restricted to VX and above. Rest are pretty much part of V. So can't see the price logic here.

Re: New Honda City To Launch in Jan 2017

One of the rare products where the facelift looks better integrated than the original version. The front end looks much better now. Kudos to Honda for this design, I hadn't expected this considering the way they went overboard for Brio and Amaze facelifts. Hope they had provided a different set of bigger alloys though.

One thing is that the headlamps do not look like projector ones.

Alpha

No Projector lamps?
just DRL Added?
16Inch Alloy with new design looks good but rubber became more slim. which is not good for India (I guess).
