Isn't this the SAME montero that was available in India about 7~10 years ago, at a price of some 30~40 Lacs?
These days Mistu has replaced all their staff with baboons.

Heck. Not even 7 – 10 Years. Only in 2014 to be precise. I had no idea this was the part of Mitsubishi's "Big Plan" for India.

Why is Mitsubishi not serious about bringing their sedans? They have been dormant and this is probably the best time for re-launch of sorts in India after being acquired by Nissan. It will be a great start for both the companies. I am pretty sure this Montero will not sell, even in low double digits. Their Mirage range of cars are absolute gem and will simply fly off the shelves, of course with proper marketing and after sales.

Hope Nissan and Mitsubishi realizes this. Until then, Mitsubishi will be non- existent in India.
