This Exclusive Scoop on MY16 Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG is first posted only on The Automotive India. Mercedes Benz has officially launched the upgraded CLA 45 AMG MY16 Model with many changes done to the exteriors, interiors and the engine. I have today seen the MY16 AMG CLA 45 and felt it quite closely too. With the official revert from dealership, I am hereby sharing the upgraded specs and pics of the MY16 AMG CLA 45.

The Changes done to the MY16 AMG CLA 45 are as follows​

CLA 45 AMG 4MATIC, now include increased output of 15 kW and 25 Nm.

New nomenclature:

"AMG" lettering on left of boot lid and "CLA 45" lettering on the right
"TURBO AMG" lettering becomes "TURBO 4MATIC"
AMG spoiler lip on boot lid in vehicle colour included as standard equipment

The following interior measures come into effect in Interiors:

AMG DRIVE UNIT: A comfortable, sporty, particularly sporty or completely individual vehicle setting can be called up conveniently using the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT controller in the centre console. With the selected drive mode, parameters such as the characteristics of the engine, transmission and steering are changed.

AMG DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes (Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport+)

AMG Performance exhaust system including two-stage adjustable engine sound – adjusted by transmission mode or by means of button in the upper control panel

AMG DYNAMIC SELECT for selecting the AMG-specific drive modes Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual

Engine:

Increased power and torque output from 265 kW and 450 Nm to 280 kW (381 hp) and 475 Nm

"Gliding" function

Mercedes-AMG CLA -45 4MATIC, light aluminium trim with longitudinal grain, multifunction sports steering wheel.

New Telematics Generation NTG 5*1 with COMAND introduced with the MY’16.

6 DVD changer

Integrated into the centre console for easy access, the DVD changer has a magazine with six compartments for CDs/DVDs. Operation is easy and intuitive via COMAND Online.
