The whole idea of a hot hatch is performance with practicality. Even the masses would appreciate this if it came at an affordable price tag. I'm not saying that the Bolt Sport will set the charts on fire, but it has the right combination to do good numbers. The fact that it looks different enough from the Indica shape because of the body kit and alloys will definitely help. The price of around 8 lakhs would be the sweet spot.
The mediocre sales of the Punto Abarth has more to do with the price tag. In my opinion, the regular Fiat Punto is also over priced for what it offers. At more than 12 lakh rupees on road. You are in C2 segment where you have cars which are a nice package with good performance and added convenience of DSG automatics. If the price was less than 10 Lakhs, I am sure Punto Abrath would have sold at least twice of what it is doing presently.
