TUV300 with automatic transmission is being recalled. The recall is being done in a very silent manner as no official statement has been issued by the company. Customers owning a TUV300 are being called personally by dealerships to get their vehicles fixed. The issue, as described by customers, is that the vehicle jerks while shifting gears along with the engine automatically revving to 4,000rpm before a shift takes place. Creep function of the car would come in play around 30 seconds later after braking and rpm drop while shifting from 4th to 5th gear.

This problem requires an ECU software update which is being done for free by the ‘SUV’ maker.
