Kwid !!! One car that has pushed Renault's sales above 10000. First time in India for them ? The team must be celebrating. Kudos. TATA team must be looking at them with envy.

Swift + Dzire = The maximum numbers from a single platform in India. Ciaz and S-Cross numbers might reflect the Safety first approach of customers. Or is it that Ciaz is going to settle around 3000 nos ? Baleno overtaking i20... will have to wait and see. But, Maruti management will be happy that it is not eating into Swift/Dzire share.

What Alto does to Maruti, Bolero & Scorpio do it for Mahindra.

Talking of December and considering decent sales figures, only "Mahindra, Maruti, Renault & Toyota" posted MoM growth, thanks to the Loyal as well as Daring Customers.

City rules while Rapid and Vento outsell Verna.

The Big T is firmly in the driving seat in the "Innova, Altis & Fortuner" segments. Etios twins are there to push it above 10000 nos.

With most models selling less in MoM, has Hyundai missed something ? Or is it a waiting game by buyers ?

May be the Americans, Italians and Europeans are simply resigned to their fate. I wonder what will happen if they sell their Cars in Maruti showrooms with the S badge ? [evil]

Actually I think Big T is going to be in trouble if the 2000cc diesel engine crisis expands pan India to other metros etc. They will not be able to sell an inefficient petrol versin of these MUVs/SUVs.
Toyota has paid the least attention to India amongst the Japs. They could have been where Honda is, had they bothered to invest in the right products. But they simply ignored the country, preferring to make money by milking off 2/3 models essentially.

The sales of the TUV and Bolero are 10K+; this is close to the sales of the bolero alone earlier;well the quanto's decline can also be included
So has M&M cannibalized its own sales? The decrease in the Ecosport number has me confused. Perhaps its a production issue at ford or has the TUV carved out from the Ecosport cake?
TML ..well total sales are less than many individual maruti cars! The Zest, Bolt, Autobox Nano, Storme (umpteenth v small upgrade) all seem to be in slow motion. The Aria -3 and Venture -25 are so low that you wonder-perhaps in anticipation of the Hexa and upgrade or discontinuation of the Venture??
