Quite detailed coverage Akash1886.

Compared to my Genio Dc Vx, the double cab variant seems to have better front end looks and black dash with a different music system. The black dash would show a lot of dust given the environment these vehicles would be subjected to. The earlier Beige dash atleast hid the dust. Also, the tachometer has been removed in the Imperio. I was hoping for them to offer the cargo box of the export version which is curvy and in-sync with the rest of the body.

Typical of Mahindra - one of the number plate light of their launch vehicle is hanging for it's dear life as is visible in 6th picture from top.

Nice exterior design and looks impressive[clap] interior remains more or same as Xylo/genio.

So Xylo can also look good.

Seems like design picked from MUL's XA alfa concept. Grill looks same.

They didn't talk about ABS/EBD anywhere.[surprise].So this is intended for uneducated people. What use is the looks when your 3 ton vehicle don't have the breaking strength.Anyway good effort by the team on design front.Much better execution on Xylo to give it a new life.

Genio - relaunch?

Quite detai..... - one of the number plate light of their launch vehicle is hanging for it's dear life as is visible in 6th picture from top.
I could not resist laughing when I went back and saw the 6th pic! I dont know when will companies like TATA & Mahindra improve their PDI checklist/the guys checking them.

This looks more like a Genio relaunch to me. Also, why give the car type floor mat? They could have charged a bit more and given Vinyl floor mats. As the kind of loads & materials these vehicles carry wont be that clean usually.

Overall, nothing new from Mahindra.

Sir even educated ones like me brought it's predecessor (Genio) fully understanding the lack of safety features. ABS would have been a good option but sadly there is still a long way before it becomes the norm even on passenger vehicles.

This picture took me 4 years back in a flash as this hanging light was the first odd point I noted during the PDI of my Genio. There seems to be some inherent problem with this particular light and after numerous attempts to fix it properly, I finally removed it.
