The brand is now developing an advanced modular platform (codenamed as AMP) that it will be using for the Indian car market in the future. This platform will be churning out a hatchback and a notchback as the first two products. These will be in the segment of Grand i10 and XCent. These will be powered by a new generation petrol and diesel engines that are under development. There will also be AMT (automated manual transmission) on offer as well. These products will be hitting the market in 2019.
The brand is working on three new platforms in total including the AMP. The other two platforms include Raptor and Harrier. These two will churn out UVs and crossovers
