In any Lok/ Rajya Sabha I do not see any of opposition leaders to ask this questions as what is Govt planning to reduce the Rs hike. Rather they are more interested in other stuff where they can earn there so called pocket money. IMO
this is soon heading towards common man coming on roads and kicking the govt out.
I think if we all people can rethink about our monthly fuel usage and at least reduce it to 25%, we can surely reduce the fuel price. I am not going to do this to support Government or the oil companies, but i am against them, who really not care about the common man.
I need to go to Trivandrum (500km including return) next monday and i earlier planned to go by my petrol car. After these fuel hike, i rethink and booked 2 train tickets. My savings may be less than 1000rs, but i just not buying at least 30 ltr petrol on the day itself. My average monthly use is around 100 liters of petrol and each month i am plan to reduce the usage by at least 25%.
Did we people ever thought what is the daily use of petrol/diesel in India? if we all not used our vehicles for a day, what these petroleum companies do with their dead stock? I think the all India Motor strikes will help on these and opposition parties should come up with the motor strikes(how about one in a week
). I know this will reduce the growth and it'll affect the business sector. On the other the hand, When our government are there to really takes care about these businessmen, why we common people think about them.
