Hyundai is gearing up for release of its < 4m Compact SUV.

The brand has confirmed that a new SUV below the Creta is indeed being developed for the near future and could be revealed by 2016.

Hyundai has tasted instant success with the Creta which has already become the best-selling SUV in India. With the new compact-SUV, the company is aiming much better volumes backed by competitive pricing.

Design of this new model is already finalised and will be revealed to select dealers soon.

Powering this compact-SUV will be 1.4L petrol & diesel motors, but no automatic gearbox
