II) From Renault/Nissan perspective, they have let loose 3 different beasts in India, including Datsun. Any one of them clicks, it makes financial benefit to the parent company.
I had quoted 10 year platform since logan was conceived in 2005 and Duster was based on the same platform. But yes, the Duster is a completely different vehicle. Most of them who bought would not even know its is based on logan unless they follow the industry closely.
What I meant was the Duster should have been updated, but my bad didn't frame the words appropriately.
As a group, they have sold 4336 units.
In this Datsun with only 2 products (literally one product I should say) has equaled Renault and Nissan.
