In a surprise move, after opposing the Quaricycle project two years back citing their doubts on the products perceived lower safety standards. But now things seem different for Tata's and have to enter this segment.

Tata Motors, India's largest automaker by revenues is developing quadricycles under a project code named 'Bravo.'
It will sport an all-new petrol engine.

Though approved for a roll out through a government notification dated February 19, 2014, quadricycles are yet to hit the roads because of a stay order from multiple high courts across the country.

However, the apex court of the country has stayed the Karnataka High Court order that stalled the introduction of quadricycle till the next date of hearing. The matter has been posted for further hearing on March 10.

They just need to take out some parts from nano,to make it a quadricycle.Isn't it ?
Yes we can safely expect to share parts with nano car for this quadricycle because its easy to build in lowest price nano base variant cost around 1.3lacks so TATA cam able to price their quadricycle around 1Lack

WHat is this Quadricycle project? Can somebody make this clear to me? Is this what is a quadricycle ? and this project is making such cycles???
Technically you are correct.
An electric quadricycle from Renault.

However the subject here is Quadricycle - which is a new category of vehicles with reduced safety standards (similar to an auto rickshaw or call it a 4 wheeled auto rickshaw)

Bajaj has painstakingly developed a quadricycle called RE60

Bajaj has clearly stated that RE60 is not an alternative car and comparison with Tata Nano is not justified.

Now the question here is should Tata Motors enter into this segment.
No is the answer from me.
