Everybody knows why Maruti sells like hot cakes, and they sure know how to play down with the general public, who are mainly first time buyers, and they could be classified into 2 categories basically
- unaware of the safety requirement to save their own life
- taken for granted attitude that i drive safe, and nothing will happen / i drive in city limits and dont require these stuffs
Our market is slowly changing, and i vouch, that the time is near, when the general public would turn towards quality products with safety features, which is offered across the globe.
I admired Honda for their stand on Safety aspect when they launched themselves in India, and continued it for a few years, until recent times, when they switched to mass production. OT
, i wish Vibhor (or TAI
core team or any member) could come to our rescue here, with numbers, year on year, on how much is the rise in number of Safety variants, and the decline of any variant (if any).
And to add to the first picture, where our Minister who is here to promote Safety awareness, is himself riding without a helmet.
What a mockery of the entire system, why dont people think twice before taking a decision??
