Even XUV5OO don't have Airbag till last row and Driver knee airbag. Only Crysta provide such good airbag support in this class.
About TML Hexa, I am reading post & watching all these pictures of good looking TML Hexa on Theautomotiveindia as well as other forum threads. People are going crazy over Hexa's launch. I remember same excitement was there over XUV5OO 4-5 years back. As expected Mahindra delivered a good VFM
product & got 7-8K booking in 3 days. Hope Hexa will generate same kind of feedback from Indian buyers. TML has invested lot of efforts, market studies and other things in Hexa and they should get good result in return.
XUV5OO grabbed too much attention before its launch, Mahindra tested it for 4-5 years & end product still came with lot of issues. At least first few batched were filled with Niggles & issues. This is where XUV5OO lost reputation & still that black spot is there on XUV5OO's timeline. New Age XUV5OO is way more niggle free than last generation. We can say that was new product from M&M stable, they took their time to solve issues and current Generation is well settled product. Hope Tata won't do such things with Hexa.
I feel, Hexa is same product TML launched before XUV5OO, that is Tata ARIA. Its kind of new Avatar of ARIA. Tata changed many things but still its Improved, Powerful, plush face-lift version of ARIA. Like Mahindra came with New Generation SCORPIO with new chassis & underpinnings but at the end its SCORPIO. M&M did name change thing with Quanto to Nuvosport but still its chop job Xylo.
OR Like Innova Crysta is very much different than older Innova but still its Innova. They kept MPV look of Innova but redesigned face, back, interiors and bit of a side view.
I feel Hexa is Old wine is New shiny bottle. Specs of Hexa are superb & if Tata priced it well then it will be another hit product for TATA.
