Today at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi, Eicher and Volvo Commercial Vehicles officially launched the Pro 6000 Series Trucks in India. Both Eicher and Volvo are two reputed names in the automotive industry globally. The Joint Venture between Volvo and Eicher is formally known as the "VE Commercial Vehicles."

The Launch Event of Eicher Pro 6000 Series Trucks
Presiding the launch meet were the following official from Eicher and Volvo Commercial Vehicles.
* Mr. SS Gill
* Mr. Vinod Aggarwal
* Mr. Philippe Divry from Volvo.
* Mr. AK Birla
The event though began about 30 minutes beyond the scheduled time yet it was a really informative one. The media was addressed foremost by Mr. SS Gill from Eicher who highlighted the various technical and safety features of the Pro 6000 series trucks through a really well explained Presentation including how Eicher shall stay connected with the buyers of these trucks through "Eicher Live Services".
Then Mr. Philippe from Vovlo also shared his views regarding these newly launched products and informed the plans of Volvo Commercial Vehicles for future. He also spoke about how India has become one of the significant markets for them.
Then Mr. Aggarwal from Eicher spoke about these Pro 6000 Series Trucks in terms of Safety of Driver and how will these provide benefits to the buyers in the long term. According to him, these Pro 6000 trucks have state of art features which shall help the drivers significantly. He also informed about the service network of Eicher and specifically mentioned about the availability of Eicher Genuine Parts which are available through Eicher Genuine Parts Shoppe.
Once the presentation and question hour was complete, the official photo-shoot of these Pro 6000 Trucks took place at Taj Palace itself.
The Trucks launched officially today are Eicher Pro 6031 and Eicher 6025T
