Toyota Hi-Ace Luxury Van To Officially Launch in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced that the Hiace luxury commuter vehicle will be launched soon in India.

The Hiace comes with various features like power steering, power windows, fabric seats, power sliding doors, fabric seats, fog lights and many more.
Toyota Hiace is powered by 2982 cc Euro 4 diesel engine producing 134 BHP of power and 300 NM of torque. This engine is mated to 4 speed automatic gearbox.

The engine of HIACE we Indians will get is the de-tuned version of the same 1KD FTV(3.0L) used in T-fort.

Considering CBU,its needless to say that Toyota will price this at about 25 Lac region(or above),IMO.

Toyota's 10-seater commuter Hiace in June 2015. Expect pricing to be high as it will be as CBU's.

The company will target five-star hotels and premium schools as primary customer of the commuter vehicle.
TKM will import the vehicle as completely built unit from Japan.

Toyota Hiace showcased at the 2015 Bus & Special Vehicle Show in Delhi.Seems like India will get a refreshed version(thanks to CBU,otherwise they will launch previous generation in India).

Here in Dubai, Hiace prices starts from 16.5 Lakhs INR.
