New Volkswagen Vento 2016 Launched in India

VW will launch a new Vento ( codenamed GP) in July 2015.
More are of cosmetic changes as seen, and this is made to differentiate it from its sibiling Polo in looks.

Engine options will remain the same as currently offered.
Vento will be launched in July 2015 with the following changes:
1) New Headlamp
2) New Grille
3) New Front Bumper
4) New Rear Bumper
5) New Tail Lights
6) New Alloy Wheel Design
7) New Horizontal Strip on Boot Lid

Also the Vento will be given a lot of feature upgrades to make it a more premium offering.

I do hope this is an All New Car and nit another facelift. It is beginning to look dated. Lower Price, Higher Features will give VW a much needed boost to the sales.

The new Vento would externally differentiate itself from its sibling - Polo . June 215 is the scheduled release. testing of the units are in progress.

The highline variant may also come with the following.

You will get new headlamps, with the addition of projectors and LED day-time running lights on the top-end trims, new tail-lamps, bumpers and new alloy wheels. The interior too will be brand new and you will see features such as reverse parking assist and Sat-Nav being introduced, that are slowly becoming a standard fare in this segment. Volkswagen may even go a step further and add electric-folding mirrors, with integrated blinkers on the outside

2015 Volkswagen Vento Facelift Spotted For The First Time

Volkswagen will facelift the Vento yet again, its second such update in less than a year’s time. The vehicle was spotted without any camouflage and is due for launch by mid-2015.

The 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift was spotted testing recently. It gets a slew of changes but nothing major enough to shake the competition. Two models (TDI and TSI) were spotted in what seems like a parking lot. Starting from the front, the big change is the grille which is bigger than before and gives the Vento a more mature look. While the test car did not have different headlights, the company is likely to change it on the production model. The front bumper is all new and so is the rear (the exhaust tip is now visible) which gets a horizontal strip running across the trunk (above the number plate holder) and the same could be finished in chrome.

New Vento, more pics. New nose and front bumper, Passat effect. tweaks on mechanicals too are expected. Diwali release is possible.

Now vento has got the passat treatment. wow! looks good at the front. but at the rear i can only spot the relocation of the vento and the TDI badges.

Vento facelift with get a New Variant - 1.4 L petrol.
With prices on Petrol on a downslide Ventois being tested with the 1.4-litre MPI with a five-speed manual transmission and even the 1.6-litre MPI with MT and AT.
This could make Vento a more affordable Sedan and also could be this engine (1.4) will come on the compact sedan too.

They have informed that the new Vento is nearing the launch with changes to headlamps likely with possibility of DRL's. Meanwhile, VW also has launched in comfortline and Highline variants of Vento, another customized edition with additional accessories called 'Magnafic'.

The Vento Magnific Highline comes equipped with a Blaupunkt infotainment system with front and rear display units and 3G internet connectivity where as the Vento Magnific Comfortline variant now gets alloy wheels, Garmin navigation device and scuff plates with a Vento badge as a standard fitment.

Vento facelift unveiled in Russia. will come to India in Oct/Nov 2015.

Changes are cosmetic, Changes to the front grill, fog light enclosure, rear chrome strip, Indicators on wing mirror,etc.

Facelift Vento now in India, but could be the Polo sedan for SA markets.



Changes seem a bit different from the earlier spotted Russian version- will get a new chrome grille, distinct creases on the hood, a new front bumper, LED lights at rear and a new carved-out rear bumper with a cut-out for the exhaust pipe. New alloy wheel patterns and seat fabrics are also anticipated.

Vento - facelift is under test. Expect a festive season launch.

DRL's, LED tail lamps, Front grill will be different from the Polo , additional features will be seen to. Cruise control ?

Vento Face lift revealed. Bookings to start soon. So what are the changes - Mechanically the engines and Transmission offering remain the same.

Interiors: On the inside you get a lighter colour scheme and a bit more equipment. Moreover, top trims of the Vento will now get cruise control, a cooled glovebox, a dead pedal, external boot release and auto-folding mirrors.
Exterior: The cosmetic changes on the facelifted Vento include a new bumper, a Passat-like grille and horizontal fog lamps with integrated cornering lights.The rear gets a modified bumper with a chrome strip that exudes style, and refreshed tail-lights. Apart from that, chrome bits have been added to the door handles, the tail-pipe and the boot as well.
