AMAZE
Base E variant will lose out on a tachometer, door-center sash tape and rear grab rails.
The S trim will gain a double-horn (that will be used a lot!)
The instrument cluster will be backlit in white and will come with blue gradation and white pointers on the EX, S and VX trims.
The new Amaze will borrow the 2014 Honda City’s ORVMs.
‘Crystal Black Pearl’ colour will be replaced by a new ‘Golden Brown’ shade.

BRIO
Base E variant will lose out on a tachometer and door-center sash tape.
Front and rear mudguards and seat-back pocket deleted on the S trim.
Double horn added to the S trim (thankfully for many).
The instrument cluster will be backlit in white and will come with blue gradation and white pointers on the EX and S trim.
The new Brio will acquire ORVMs from the 2014 Honda City..
‘Energetic Blue’ colour will be deleted and a new ‘Majestic Blue’ shade will be added.

Some changes noticed other then ones mentioned above

Brio V Variant gets

1. Tilt Adjust Steering
2. ABS with EBD

Overall a good deletion & additions of features without hike in prices.

Removing of the Tacho in E variant is a good deletion. [confused]

Definitely not, tacho is a good feature to have. It is essential. Though I think Honda made this move to either lower the prices or due to that variant having low demand.
E rarely sells and it is kept for Lower Price point of that car. S will still sell well compared to E,EX,V,VX.
Prices are being updated according to official Honda Website and I think they might have revised the prices.
I don't think Honda is interested in pushing Brio much, considering they get enough profits from City, Amaze, Mobilio.

Honda badly needs to replace the OEM music system in the Amaze with a better sounding one ( like in the Xcent, Grand i10 etc.). The Parcel tray should be able to accommodate bigger speakers. Personally I do not like to see the USB port sticking out with a cord which looks like an after market job. Provision for playing CDs will be welcome.

Honda Amaze facelift coming in this year - Most likely in the festive season.

Honda has been working on introducing the facelift version of the Amaze, and we could expect a launch sometime around the festive season. Honda has made multiple changes on the Amaze and at the moment the company is testing out the prototypes in petrol and diesel engines. Honda has even sending prototypes to Japan for both the engines and these are all pre-production models.

There shall be multiple changes on the compact sedan to make it look premium with a lot of new features that other competitors are now offering. Expect a sea of changes in the facelift version on the Amaze. On the outside there might not be multiple changes, however it is inside where the major change will occur.

Good for Honda if they can do all this without substantially affecting the prices. Will be good for the buyers if they can get better competition. I am sure cars like Xcent and Zest should be pushing Honda to come up with such facelifts. IMO the facelift should at least have the following:

  • Change dashboard design - low probability
  • Better HUs in non-top models also
  • ACC is a must
  • Adjustable headrests for front seats

So still no fog lamps eh?
What do you mean?? Honda Amaze already has fog lamps in VX and VX(O) variants. Do you mean they should give it to the lower variants also? Please make your question more clear and specific.
