Toyota beats Maruti Suzuki to top J.D Power sales satisfaction index
So finally is a disturbing news from the Indian Automotive World. Maruti Suzuki has finally been toppled from the top spot in the 2014 J. D power customer satisfaction index in the sales satisfaction category.
Maruti has been the undisputed king in all the satisfaction surveys, be it sales, service, quality or anything else. But finally TOYOTA has managed to snatch one of the honors from Maruti Suzuki. Toyota has been honored with best Sales satisfaction at the Dealer level including the ready availability to the required model.
Overall all the car companies have managed to up the average with Mahindra for the first time barged above the Industry average and TATA Motors climbing several steps and almost reached then industry average.
But as always, Chevrolet, Ford, Renault, Nissan, et al, are still in the relax mood and show no signs of repent.

A new report on sales satisfaction from JD Power India shows that overall sales satisfaction in the mass market segment has gone up by 16 points on a 1,000 point scale that the agency uses. More importantly, the overall satisfaction is driven up by an upward spike in delivery timing and delivery process.
As far as OEMs are concerned, the survey shows that customers are most satisfied with Toyota Kirloskar Motors. Maruti Suzuki ranks second and tied at third are Honda, Mahindra and Hyundai.
