Diwakar, we already have a thread for the crash test. http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/fo...rash-test.html
The debate your are having is certainly subjective.
One can find better mats, seat covers, alloy wheels, tyres, horns etc in open market.
But when it comes to factory fitted electronic equipment, nothing can match the fit and finish along with the quality of work done. Moreover, it is peace of mind of no warranty void as well.
And in our country, we always say "Safety features not required for City drive". This is just bizarre conclusion which our minds had all these years. But thankfully, consumers are becoming aware of the necessity of Safety Features, and are pushing the extra Vit-M to have peace of mind when it comes to safety.
Talks are on in the Government which hopefully will amend the Motor-Vehicle rules, making Safety features like ABS
& Air-bags standard across all variants.
Fingers crossed on when they will actually implement it.
