Its not bad actually. Over the last two days, i have forgotten to close the electrically opening mirrors on my Zeta atleast 50 times, then had to switch on the car to close those

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! Hello guys,
Here are the pics of my silver fox (Alpha P).
Pardon the quality of pics as these are captured from my phone cam.
1st one in office parking. ( bit dark as there was lack of proper lighting).
2nd one while getting ready for delivery. IMO Silver shade of baleno looks different in different lighting conditions.
Cheers

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! After all the waiting at the dealership on Saturday and them checking the aircon, this morning the aircon was off again. Having taken the car to the service centre thats attached to the dealership, the SA could not believe when i told him that the Aircon and music system was not working at delivery. He called the technicians who had checked on Saturday & they confirmed there was no refrigerant in the system
When i called at 3pm, they informed of compressor leak. The new compressor will come on Wednesday, so they can return the car on thursday.
So now on a brand new car, these guys will do a core component replacement on the 2nd day of ownership! Net result- i lose factory fittment. A few four letter cuss words come to mind
I was denied a PDI but the showroom had done the PDI and nothing had come up in it. I asked my RM as to what value that PDI was. He had no answer. I disconnected and stopped talking to the ASC also.
Having called the Nexa helpline, after much trying, when i finally got through, i asked them why i should suffer for their problem. They offered to either register a complaint or feedback. I asked what each was and she said if it is feedback, i would get an apology from Maruti & if a complaint, it would be taken up with the dealership higher management. I asked what good would either do. I registered as feedback and asked fir her management to call an face my ire.
Then i got a call from the Maruti regional office. The guy asked if it was a good time to talk & i told him it was not as i was pissed with them. He suggested to get the compressor replaced today itself & stuff. Told him not to promise anything as he would surely break it. Asked him to do it & keep me updated and hung up
Objective of posting this is to use a public forum to highlight their competence

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! @Ameyam, at any cost you might have pressed them for PDI by you at stock yard. I brought Swift Dzire ZXi 7 months back I have rejected three cars at stock yard. First one with lots of scratches on the body, second one windshield pit and the third one bumper damage. i have booked the car in three showrooms and used to roam between stockyards. Where ever I got the perfect car there I finalized and said go further and canceled other two bookings, they will cheat you if you don't do PDI yourself. At any cost you have to press for your own PDI. |

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! I didnt do pdi when i bought the Swift in October 14 & didnt intend ti do it now. I expect the dealer to be fully responsible for the car they deliver. If they cant solve an issue like this amicably, i can use the Maruti customer service helpline to thoroughly jack them

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! @Ameyam, you can do that but pain, leaving new car in the service station, do you believe they are competent enough, when they came my home for free service they don't know the coolant quantity. Dzire uses 0W20 but they filled 5W40. In your case make sure they have really changed compressor and the compressor oil. Ask them to use torque wrench when the tight compressor bolts because compressors directly fits to engine block there is no bracket for the same like earlier models weight reduction right. |

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! They will do it all right. I dont need to teach them their trade. If a problem recurs, i will be justified to demand a chassis replacement

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! @Ameyam, how do you feel interiors and fit and finish of interiors of the baleno compared to swift, I felt swift is more roomier than baleno because of the height difference even though baleno is little wider. |

Cheers | Yes the silver shade in your pic looks different in different lighting. The black strip in the lower part of doors, was it part of accessory? Quote:

Is the black strip in the lower part of doors part of accessory ? | Yes, Its a part of accessories. This is side moulding. They Charged Rs 1790 for this.
One can go for body coloured side moulding for rs 3100.
I found these black ones with chrome strip better than body coloured.

The interiors are nice but not as premium feeling as the Swift. The Swift has had several facelifts and the finish of the material reflects that. Unlike the Swift, the dash in the Baleno is mostly a single panel, so there are not too many mating gaps to check. For example, when I was trying to install my Ganapati Idol, I pressed the idol on the dash and it buckled a bit. So nice nut not as "wow" as the Swift. However, I personally found the finish on par as the Hyundais I have been in, in terms of texture, dont know (and hope never to need to know) about the fit and finish
With regards to the space inside, the Baleno (atleas the Zeta I have) is different from the Swift in that the roof has been lowered to make the car more aerodynamic, so the windscreen is sloping and you sit lower. I am tending to fall into the Baleno seat much more than the Swift. The Swift also had larger side mirrors than the Baleno making the Baleno feel wider than it actually is. However, the Baleno is actually roomier than the Swift.

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! There is no under-body cover in Baleno as I can clearly see the ground when we open the bonnet. Baleno owners can you please check if this is ok to have an open underbody(Suzuki must have tested but still it’s a deal breaker for me). Please do comment as I am planning to buy Baleno (Or I would go with Brio VX as i20 with safety feature is out of budget). Thanks in advance. |

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! i was supposed to get the delivery of baleno diesel alpha gray on 14/12/15, but due to NGT's order for banning registration of diesel cars in delhi the showroom said that the maruti has stopped the delivery of diesel vehicles in delhi on temporary basis upto january 6.
Now i have 2 options.
a) wait for 6th january ..but there will be price hike of around 20k-30k.
b)go for autumn orange colour.
what are the future problems with orange colour.....
Please do suggest.
thanks |

There are no significant issues with this shade except that it catches dust too often and looks really awful in dust. The dust appears too pronounced on this shade. Rest no issues. No point wasting money and time till 06th Jan. It is still unclear as what would be the actual outcome after 06th Jan-2016 as well.
