From which dealership you are taking the vehicle from.
As far as i know and to my knowledge, Baleno being a new and hot selling vehicle they don't offer any freebies. Ofcourse that all depends on the RM too.
whats the point of accepting PDI at 07:30PM when its so dark. Better ask him to keep the vehicle ready tomorrow morning, do your PDI and then make the payment.
- Sandeep | Thank you for the response Sandeep.
I went to the showroom last night to check if the car had really arrived. And I will do the PDI in an hour now.
However, the guys at the dealership are insisting on getting the vehicle insured through them. I will try to convince them about it. The package they are providing does not cover everything I'm looking for. And it's priced higher than what the I am quoted directly by the insurance company(with a better package.)
It's NEXA by VARUN MOTORS. |

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! hi, took delivery of alpha petrol urban blue yesterday. Entire process was smooth, got enough support from RM. Booked 5th dec 2015 and got delivery on 6th Jan2016. 5 litter petrol coupon, flour and chocolate were the freebies. No problem found till time, ride is very smooth above 80kmph. One problem found, 2 rubber coated magnet present to open boot, one is rectangular another square. Whenever press the square button irrespective of the mode( lock or open) u can able open the boot door. Request views. One more thing not able to upload photograph |

-Suryaputhra | I need to register there again. The first thing that I do for my car is registering again. There is a lot to do now. I need to register and apply for a refund of Road Tax in HYD.
Due you have any idea about the process of re-registering other state vehicle in Karnataka State. If so can you share some info please.
As of now I have searched in Karnataka Transport Dept. Website and found the below about re-registration. Not sure if this is what i need to apply for or some other thing. From Other State to Karnataka RTO
Also need some info on how to reserve a number like how much does it cost to reserve a number in current series / advance series etc.

There are three rubber coated square buttons on the car- one each on the door handles and one at the hatch. They are called request switches. With the key in your pocket, if you press them the car will toggle between lock and unlock. The car will only do this if the key FOB is in range of the doors, about 1M. Once the key is out of range, pressing the request switches doesn't unlock the car

You need to see that the number you wish to reserve isn't already registered, for this there is a link in the website. Next you need to refer to the procedure to obtain/book a fancy number.
Charges AFAIK are
Fancy Number in Current Series - Rs.20000
Fancy Number in Advance Series - Rs.75000 |

In Maharashtra, the RTO website mentions the cost. You can check for other states too, it should be there somewhere on net. |

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! Unless you are really enamoured by a number, its quite pointless. Its possible to get a particular total requested with no additional cost. That's what I did

Ameyam | Thanks Nishant, Amit & Ameyam.
I have seen the details in the website. And i was of the opinion that fancy numbers mean 1234, 007, 2222, 786, 555 etc...
In Hyd, the above said numbers cost a bit high. and any other normal numbers like 8613, 4653, 8756 etc can be reserved at a cost of 6000.
So I want to know if it is same in Bangalore also.
I am looking for a particular number which also gives me the required total. Though the number that i am looking for is not considered as Fancy in normal terms.

- Sandeep | My number is 7785 I paid 5000. In Bangalore you can drive with Hyd no for about a month, afterwards you have to pay road tax and drive for one year with HYd no, after that you have to take Ka number. Be careful in Bangalore transport dept using very rude methods to catch outstation cars who are not paid road tax. |

Otherwise it is good car. There are many Pluses which are not there in its competitors.

| Re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Now Launched! Hi guys,
I am planning to take delivery of baleno delta petrol by next week.
Already, I had bad experiences of doing a PDI and rejected the car, since it had dents. I waited for the next lot and got one allotted this week. Today, I checked the exterior of the car and they looked fine. I couldn't check the interiors as RM didn't allow me. Anyway, he said he will allow me to check before registration. Now I have couple of queries. Please help me out.
1) what are the important accessories needed for delta? Should I wanna go for nexa basic accessories or get it done from outside shops? Also, can I add new seat covers from Nexa?
2) Can I get the insurance from outside? In that case, what are the things I should take care while getting the insurance? Also, please tell me if there are any disadvantages in getting the insurance from outside rather than getting one from showroom
Thanks in advance 😊
