Sirji I am really amazed to see your observation skills. To me even a Nano doing 100 kph looks planted on highway if I am not driving it but you observed the surefootedness of TUV just by looking and that also in a video. BTW
I would love to TD this one as this seems to be near perfect vehicle that we need for our movements to some of our sites. Why so? Ruggedness and reliability of Mahindra in a compact package. At times we have to come out of villages reversing the Scorpio or Innova all the way for 1-2 kilometers and that is a pain in a** in itself. A belief:
Mahindra as a home grown brand deserves to be respected. Not because it is a home grown brand, but because of the way they have grown up on their own.
We guys need to give a chance to our home grown manufacturers. Mahindra and Tata guys work really hard to provide us with maximum bang for buck and people in turn consider them low quality and happily get looted inside the dealerships of some 'brands'.
Look at Scorpio, Storme, XUV and of course the upcoming Hexa. If they were not Mahindra or Tata vehicles then the likes of Toyota and Honda would have priced them like this:
Scorpio: 15-19 lac ex showroom
XUV: 17-21 lac ex showroom
Storme: 16-20 lac ex showroom
Hexa: 21-26 lac ex showroom
And people would have queued up to get theirs. Maruti or Hyundai would have priced a lac cheaper but nothing close to Tata or Mahindra. Hexa is the most classic case here, everyone wants everything but for 15 lac rupees. How? IMO
, Scorpio in itself is worth a lac over the likes of Creta, Duster etc and XUV is worth two. These are my personal opinions though and some may feel otherwise.
