SIAM Go Green Pavilion at Auto Expo 2014

SIAM has displayed a range of hybrid and electric vehicles in a dedicated pavilion in an effort to encourage green mobility in India.

Very good initiative from SIAM.But what baffles me is the governments lack of support for alternate fuels/electric vehicles and like stuff.If we don't encourage research how will anyone have the will to make inventions.With our heavy dependence on fossil fuels,we are in the firing line if something goes wrong in Middle East.

Very good display and concepts. But surely there is no support from GOI on these initiatives like tax breaks. Else Tata and M&M can surely launch some eco-friendly vehicles.
