Volkswagen is all set to launch refreshed Jetta.

After launching the Jetta two years back, Volkswagen is ready to update its executive sedan.

After Skoda Launched the New Octavia, the Jetta was the only untouched car in its class, Now VW is ready to challenge new Octavia and other cars in Segment with Update.

The update are mainly Features Add-Ons

The Jetta now gets Bi-Xenon Headlights with LED DRL's(Only on Highline)

Headlamp Washers(Only on Highline)

Dual Zone Climatronic (All Variants)

New "Sedona" Alloy Wheels (Trendline & Comfortline)

Mechanically there are no changes, the 1.4 TSi with 6 speed MT and 2.0 TDi with 6 speed MT/ AT remain the same.

Now with the added features the Jetta is pretty much par with Octavia in terms of Equipment. Except for Panaromic Sunroof every other feature present in Octavia is available in Jetta now. Marginal price increase is expected on the new Jetta.

I think for someone looking at the Trendline or the Comfortline variant would be better off buying the pre-facelifted versions as the changes are just to the alloy wheel design and the addition of dual zone Climatronic AC. I am sure there wouldn't be any discounts for now on the new one, But there are discounts being offered on the pre-facelifted ones which I've heard are close to 80k-1 Lakh on the TL and CL variants.
