Yesterday I went to Pride Honda showroom to check out the new Honda City. I felt like checking out the car inside out. So I started to feel the steering wheel & the rear seat of the car was absolutely delightful. I wanted to check out the engine bay. To see what OEM
parts are being used. The Alternator & Radiator is from Denso! (Like in many other cars ) . The battery is from Amaron, I could also see a Honeywell sticker ( comes with a waste-gate type Honeywell turbocharger ). There is a lot of gap in between the engine & the front grill. I took out my phone & started taking pictures of the engine bay, liquid mount, rear naked boot lid..etc
Here comes the fun part, Everything was fine but Suddenly a sales rep comes & tells me politely, that you are not allowed to take any pictures
. I asked him why ? He couldn't present me with a reason. I asked him again?? Why ?? Any Valid reason ?? He was speechless. I then showed him that I have deleted all your pictures, then he said " Thank you " & left. I still don't understand why shouldn't I take pictures ? We're they scared that, they are going to get any negative publicity ? Why would I ?!? What's so big secret about the new Honda city ? It's the same engine from the Amaze & looks more or less like the old city. It was like, As if they are doing some R & D and I am stealing their Ideas.
