2. The petrol version was only on paper!
3. The interiors of Duster are identical to Logan, not sure why people hated the same interiors in Logan but liked them in duster!
due to the long unknown delay in release date of ecosport, even i got frustrated and during march 2013 i was almost decided to take Duster, but all was changed by the way dealers behavior.
have asked for TD with trident Renault Whitefield . asked me to come on Saturday
called them promptly on Saturday they said TD vehicle is not available now
another one week passed on hit and missed not able to take a TD
again approached them on May mid even booked for TD thru on-line they called almost after 10 days and fixed appointment thats 4 days after that, then again excuses such as
we are on the way from Mysore will reach you by 2 pm
sorry for the inconvenience and we will surly send on this week end.
and so on......
and my patience keep trying attitude wins at last TD vehicle reached my place on somewhere around 12th to 18th june [didnt remember exact date] done a test drive with family,
i forgot all minor niggles and plastic quality audio system, infront of the way it goes on potholes and bad road
but once i got down from the vehicle, my wife asked one question that broken my enthusiasm and my take on duster.
she asked if this people take such a long time (almost 2 months) to bring the duster for test drive, then how long they take to deliver the car if you book it and how long they will take for servicing and emergency support in case if it breaks down on middle of the road ?
i have no words to reply for her layman term but valid question, i took a while and nodded my head and murmured to her yes you are right dear, ill strike out duster from our list
