Fiat is a underestimated brand in India. True, but for how long will be ? I think FIAT is now very much serious into business. After the new Ads promotion in TV/ Radio/ News Papers for the Brand, now the next segment is to show the real taste of Italian hospitality with gorgeous cars available in the range in India. The result is the opening of FIAT Caffee in Bangalore.
The Fiat Caffee has been opened (unofficially) on 28th April, 2013. The event launched is named as FUNDAY of FIAT. The function is continued till 29th April, 2013. Radio City 91.1 was involved to make the place more lively with live actions on spot with the visitors to the Caffee. The visitors were welcomed with Snacks, cold drinks. including that drawing of Mehendi desings for women and tattoos for Children. Video game facility was also in place. Everything looks pretty good and i never seen such kind of auto Showroom before. Few Merchandises of FIAT were also available. The Caffee consists of two floors with ground floor for the display of cars and 1st floor for the Caffee and booking office I guess. Now, only it is manually functioning and the merchandises are also sold manual billing process. Hope these will be automated soon.
I have visited the Caffee yesterday around 6:30 PM. Everything seems was very good, starting from parking my car to leaving the Caffee. I was just struggling to find a place to park. By seeing me, Rajesh (A fiat dressed guy) came to me and showed the place to park. He was there until I park my Punto. Then he escorted my wife and me. Explained different areas of the Caffee and took us finally to the main sitting area on 1st floor. He asked us about the Tea or coffee or any cold drinks. I thought to go for coffee in a Caffee but ultimately another guy came up with cold drinks and some guju snacks (I liked ) and told coffee is not available . Watched the IPL for few mins on the big projector. Took some snaps and went to meet the FIAT guys. Service in charge of KHT Mr. Suresh was available including the KHT SA guys ,whom i know most of them, from my previous visit to KHT Had a very short chat with them. When inspected the Punto parked inside the Caffee, i saw the old fashioned A/C was fitted. Asked them about the model and they told that that is an old model and just put it for display. From 11th of May all the new models will be available after official inauguration and the service center too will be fully functional. Rest regarding new models is still a mystery and no confirmed date yet but will come soon as they say. From the displayed FIAT merchandise, bought two toy Pandas for my Punto. The place for the Caffee is bit smaller side as i felt.
The location is, next to HDFC bank and before Dell office on the inner ring road. If you are coming from old airport road, before Domlur fly over take the left turn and after 0.5 KMs the destination will be on the left. Nice MOVE by FIAT. Hope days will be brighter for FIAT in India.
Now, few pics
