Just back from the Auto Expo. Event was nice but management is getting pathetic. We didn’t expect so much rush on media days. It’ll be difficult to imagine what will be the situation on normal days. Anyways watch this space for an extremely exhaustive coverage from The Automotive India, as always.

Nothing like that was there on Maruti Suzuki Pavilion. Ertiga isn't revealed now either. The official launch will happen tomorrow.

oops the first controversial happening at auto expo, i heard the manza sneaked in to the honda enclosure(referring to civic) and they now have a love child manza hybrid

I booked 2 tickets for 7th jan from BMS but there is no info regarding the counter/place where i need to collect the tickets from.

any info guys?

The Voucher from BMS has to be shown at ticket counters at gate 5-7 of Pragati maidan to collect the tickets.

Please note that those who are planning to visit Auto Expo 2012 – Be well prepared for the extremely huge traffic jams (Yes, I mean ‘extremely’). I have experienced it all even in the media days and I can only predict what’s going to happen next. Moreover, since the entry is restricted to only one lakh visitors and ocean of people arrive at the venue; try to reach as early as possible. We are shortly going to post a small guide for Auto Expo visitors. Watch this space and a lot more of coverage threads are still remaining from our end.

Today's experience was really bad for me at AutoExpo.

I booked my tickets via BMS two days ago but when i reached the destination today i had to collect the tickets by standing in the queue for around 20-30mins. I don't get what's the point of online booking then?

Even after entering at around 12, i started well with maruti/mahindra/tata and even bikes department as well (BTW Suresh Raina was present at HERO stall).

I didn't managed to see even a single car or bike by merc/audi/bmw/skoda/triumph. It was too heavily crowded. I mean come on..

I hope next time ticket prices should be kept at minimum of 1000rs for general visitors.

Only thing i loved about the auto expo were HOT models of Yamaha and Chevrolet :-P
