New Upgraded Mitsubishi Montero BS-4 Facelift
The primary change in the 2010 Montero will be extra power which will go up from the current 165PS to 200PS. The torque too will get a bump up from the current 380Nm to 440Nm. Apart from the changes in power and torque figures, the new Montero will also have some new features, a Euro IV norms compliant engine and a better NVH insulated cabin.
The new Montero will most likely hit the showrooms by September end – early October. The Prices of the 2010 Montero will most likely start from Rs 37 Lakh ex-showroom. Source: Motoroids |

Any information about exterior enhancements? Nothing much seems to be work out until Mitsubishi drops the price to an acceptable margin.

Mitsubishi seriously needs to rethink their strategy in India before doing facelifts like these and the ones done in Outlander!

Mitsubishi Motors has released the up-to-date Montero in India in order to meet BS-4 Emission norms. There are no significant exterior changes other than a cosmetic make over on front and new rear bumper. The car continues to be powered by the 4-cyls in-line, 3200cc, turbo-diesel engine, but the power now goes up to 144.9bhp, a good 25.9bhp higher than the older SUV and Torque figures too have gone up by 5.9kgm. New Montero carries the price tag of Rs.37.99 Lakhs, Ex. Showroom Delhi, and as usual leaves us in wonder when will Mitsubishi India wake up, actually?

Why do i see a Pajero badge at the rear?
Instead of this they could have facelifted the Pajero atleast! |
