One of my college friend has ordered for a Polo, which is expected to be delivered in a few days time.
He first opted for silver, then grey and finally has decided on a red Polo.

Good that VW are increasing production.
It is the only way to get rid of the excess backlog.

They have no other choice in my opinion. The lone Chakan plant, isn't enough for the bookings which are increasing day by day. Volkswagen, along with increasing production has to set up a healthy after sales network. Only then, the mighty Germans will have a stand against the Japanese.

Autocar India's estimated price guess for Polo 1.6 is Rs.7,10,000. The car will be available only in Highline variant.

Come-on, we want 1.6L hatchback also, and now we are feeling its costly. They can't satisfy everybody.
I think, after Palio 1.6, we Indians are desperately missing some hatch with big engine.

However, 7.10 lakhs ex-showroom is on a pricy side I think.

Wow, After a huge gap here comes a hot 1.6 ltr hatch.
After Palio 1.6, this is going to be a pure beast on roads. 7.10 is really pricey.
It will be fine with 6 to 6.50.
