Vento refresh will Phase in Sep-Oct 2014. Changes will be mostly in the interiors similar to thE Polo refresh. Could be they will bring in the TDI automatic which will be the highlight of the refresh model.

I would say, they are clearing up their old stock and inventory by giving all these gimmicky stuff. Which is usually done by Volkswagen marketing to fire up their sales charts. I would say, don't fall for it. Buy only if you like the car, but don't buy the car for that blaupunkt stuff. Car is ready for a facelift like what vm2011 has said and it's going to have the 1.5 TDI engines imported for the initial batch of cars until VW assembles their own engines. The power is going to be the same because of the VGT turbo. And reduced tax benefit will also bring down the prices. The 1.5 TDI will stay for long in their pipeline and an all new vento will be launched in 2015. So buying 1.5 TDI will be a wiser option. I have driven it and the NVH levels are lower than current 1.2 and 1.6 TDI engines. It feels refined.

Dash looks clean. That rear tablet and its fitting looks ackward and an after-market fitment with it protruding out from the seat and blocking the operation of the passenger side head rest. Could have done this in-built in the head rest.
