Even before the launch, customers are getting negative impression of figo and its shocking that ford is not offering such basic features. leave the swift aside, i don't think figo can even compete with beat. it will be only acceptable if they price it dot 3 Lakhs.. all the best ford.

Well, It didn't happened yesterday. An official has confirmed the launch to be more than couple of weeks away. Specs and Features are same and confirmed which were posted on previous pages.

Well then lets hope they price it well. Else there will not be many takers for Figo. Either the car should be a great performer or a head turner , unfortunately the car lacks both! The only way to keep people interested is with an attractive price tag!

Surprising that the two American manufacturers in India today have had such disparate feedback for their latest models ... Beat vs Figo - Not much of a contest so far, is it?

Since the launch, Chevy Beat started giving sleepless nights to competitors and now from what we heard, nothing much seems to be attractive about Figo. It'll be interesting to attend the launch of Ford India's another try in hatch segment and see how it is presented, What is going to be it's USP over other well-established rivals? Still waiting for time to tell and quite curious about the launch of Figo.

guys, the official production of Ford Figo has started today in Sriperumbudur near chennai plant.
Quote:
“The new Figo simply isn’t a small car. The Figo looks impressive on the outside and it is very athletic and modern. Inside it is very elegant. Seat comfort was very good and with items like Bluetooth, interior storage power mirrors, the entire package simply offers more than customers have ever seen in a small car,” said Kishore Singh Gehlot, owner of four KS Ford dealerships.
The new car will be available at the dealerships from March and will be priced between Rs. 3.5 lakh to Rs. 4.5 lakh. It will compete with small cars from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Tata Motors, Fiat, Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan and Honda. Ford Figo will be available in 7 different colours of which 3 will be regular colors but the other four colors will be more scintillating and vibrant.

The pricing is a tad little high , everybody will go for a Swift or i10 instead!

Car looks cool in the above pic. Its all about pricing, that its success depends. I shall prefer safety features like ABS and Air bags to power windows. Lets wait for the prices.
