Sad to read that the 800 which topped the charts by selling 20,000 units each month has now come down to 2,000. Though, the car has been phased out from 14 major cities but glad to see that people in rest of the country are still picking it.

I would like to see the break up for FIAT.
If the 370 odd palio rumor is true, it means Both Linea and Punto numbers have gone down!

Hey, FIAT sales are really shocking. Linea+Punto+Palio=21XX. And the sales are down by almost 300 units as compared to last year. It seems Linea isnt doing well because i spot more GPs as compared to Lineas.

Ford's count really shows a good progress.
Their hard work for Figo shows a good result.

I am just waiting for next month as they will be starting their second production shift this July. May be 10K Figos this month???

The Punto launched in last June, so initial month, sales were high, similar to any new launches.
And actually, Linea is doing pretty well, consistently selling ~1000. Punto is one which needs more than 1000. Though in Premier Hatch segment, only i20 is selling much more (~5K) than Punto.
Fiat needs one nice small car to increase its volume.

in addition to the launch of their new cars, Fiat must work on its marketing strategies. Both of their fine cars, are not getting as many sales as they deserve.

A clear indication for Hyundai to launch i40 asap.

That’s relieving news. GM has successfully managed to sell 1119 units more in comparison to previous month.

Yeah, for sure but I doubt for how long it'd be able to be in limelight.

Default Tata Motors overtakes Hyundai as India's second-biggest car maker

Quote:
Tata Motors moved ahead of Hyundai in terms of sales. And as anticipated this edge was given by Nano. Helped by 7704 units sold by Nano in June, passenger vehicle volumes of Tata Motors were up 63% at 27811 units, a few hundred units more than Hyundai's 27366 units (up 19%). However, this is not the first time that Tata Motors has done this.
