If the Jazz is to sell in India, Honda has to get pricung right. Last i saw, the Jazz was trim to trim 50k more expensive the corresponding Baleno and i20 and didnt offer all features from those cars. This even though the Jazz was an equal or better car than those depending on you POV.

They will NOT. WR-V will get the 1.5 IVTEC.

The fact is the 1.2L engine is well suited for that car if it had driving modes. The same engine is really peppy in the Brio but lacks power on Jazz due to the FE centred tune. They could easily set up driving modes to give the engine the same pep as the Brio but at a lower FE value.
But knowing Honda, they will not do it. They will not do the obvious in the name of brand value
