VW recorded a total production of 111,444 cars in the calendar year 2014. Assuming 40% of car is for domestic sale, there is no reason to assume the India specific body can't be different while still achieving profit on common platform.
Sirji, are you working in office too side by side?
I never meant multiple cars out of same platform. I meant only one car 'VW Vento' and it's Indian as well as exported version. I am simply saying that "Since VW sells hardly 2000 cars (Rapid and Vento) based on this specific chassis (MQB platform + alterations for making it a Vento chassis) per month. So this doesn't make any sense for them to get separate chassis being built for export as well as Indian market based cars"
. They need to make very slight changes for just LHD and RHD markets, that's it, but that is also a bigger volume than only Indian market one. I hope I am clear now.
No that was a comment on their build quality
My Laura never had them broken and so are many forum members who own Poo or Vento but the A/C vents never got broken. In fact have you seen the side vents of Corolla or Innova? In Innova, they can get broken even if a 8 year old child punches them.
