With the F-Pace expected to launch internationally early next year, Jaguar is planning a line-up of SUVs to be offered alongside the F-Pace, with the smallest model in the family likely to rival the Mini Countryman and Audi Q1. It is however unlikely that the model range will extend above the F-Pace, with larger seven-seater models.

Company insiders have confirmed to our sister publication Autocar UK that Jaguar is readying not one, but a family of SUVs which will be positioned below and above the F-Pace in future. This could also lead to the development of coupé derivatives of the SUV, as seen with other prominent automakers such as BMW with the X6 and Mercedes with the new GLE Coupé.

Jaguar is unlikely to confine the new family of SUVs to just sporty-looking designs and the company is also expected to develop R and SVR models of the same, which could be marketed as technical flagships.

Jaguar has also all but confirmed an electric SUV with Jaguar design director Ian Callum saying “It’s coming” when asked about the electric Jaguar. It is expected to be built at the Magna Steyr factory in Austria with JLR having confirmed that it is shifting models out of its UK facilities to free up production capacity.

I like the wraps applied on the car. The regular black and white pattern wrap on a test car is boring. these wraps are pertaining to the terrain the car is tested on. Black with streaks on snowy roads. Brown desert appeal when testing in the desert.
I guess is a novel way to test car with different wraps.

Jaguar F Pace: Reviews out!

Jaguar may have disappointed few people buy not out Macaning the Porsche Macan. If they had gone the "heart over mind" way, then F Pace would have been the king of dynamics of the SUVs, and if they went "head over heart", which they did then it is almost near Macan-dynamics but with far more practicability to seat:

1) Highest Boot Space: 650 Liters compared to 550 and below for Mercedes, Audi and Bimmer.
2) The Infotainment System: Finally, In-Touch Pro is on par with the Germans and there is also a TFT type Screen in place of the instrument cluster Audi TTesque.

Secondly, as good as the new F-Pace is – and it’s very good – the Porsche Macan is still a more capable car. Where the F-Pace wins on practicality, features for the money and potentially even for styling, in our view the Macan remains the dynamic king of the SUV segment. But it’s important to know why and whether that’s even relevant.
The other notable disappointment is the steering, which is vague and relatively uncommunicative. On one hand it’s sharp and very sensitive, but on the other there’s no tangible connection between the front wheels and the driver. Where the Jaguar XE is superb in this department, the F-Pace is lacking. This is, in part, the cause of some of the understeer issues, for there is no feel as to when the front end is going to let go right until it does. But is any of this relevant? For the average buyer, the answer is a resounding no. {Think the fairer Sex}[;)] But it should be, for Jaguar claims the F-Pace is the perfect balance between ride comfort and dynamic capability. While there is no doubt that the first Jaguar SUV rides almost as good as the best from Range Rover, it doesn’t have the dynamic edge that it seeks.
