Buddies,

A first from Chevrolet! It has invited the owners of the Corvette to come up and design engines for their Corvettes according to their needs and tastes. Every engine that shall be created personally shall bear the name of the creator.

Kicking off in March, those who have put an order down for the high-powered ‘Vette can select the experience off of the same order form for an extra $5,000, regardless of trim level. From there, they’ll be treated to a full day with a Performance Build Center engine assembly technician who will instruct them on how they will build the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that will end up in their brand new ride.
Just a thought! Had Chevrolet India started such a practice, surely, it would have been a different ball-game for them!

IMO this will remain as a dream for Indians for many years.Currently GM India is struggling in market by silent recalls and replacing engines for many Enjoy mpvs.Don't know why these Americans(GM and Ford) are lazy in India[frustration].

This is the kind of move Indian manufacturer HM had to do when they launched the one and only Indian muscle looking car the CONTESSA. I can relate a corvette is America's all time favorite car. we can only drool over it can never own it. @ HARI GANGADHARAN the reason they don't make it to india is, we have the first question KITNA DETI HAIN which would fail the car at the launch itself. Also Petrol is much cheaper in America than in India so, they don't care about the mileage it gives but the fun it gives in driving. i so want Camero's and Mustangs to come to India. however that would just be a dream far from being true.
