This is an Exclusive and exhaustive coverage 'The New York International Auto Show'.

The first NYIAS was held in the year 1900. The show was held at the New York Coliseum from 1956 to 1987 when the show moved to the Javits Center.

This year too the show is being held at Javits Centre from April 18th-27th (Public days).

Be prepared to drool all the way as you keep browsing through the pics because NYIAS had a lot to offer.

Ford showcased all its models at the Autoexpo 2014. They included Focus, Explorer, Escape, Fusion etc.

However, what remained to be the showstopper was the 2015 Ford Mustang GT Limited Edition marking the 50th Anniversary of the car.

The other car/concept which attracted a lot of crowd especially the youngster was the Ford Edge.

Thanks for the quick update Gaur sahab. Need more. Please go shutter happy as in chitty chitty bang bang.

p.s.: Why do they have to tone down the Mustang's looks with each successive model?[pig]

Thanks 350Z. I have tons of photo of the event and might go to the show again. I will post the pictures by manufacturers.

Agreed. I too feel that with very facelift/generation, cars like these are losing their true DNA.

More to come very soon.

Toyota @ NYIAS 2014

Toyota @ 2014 NYIAS

The most exciting displays were the new Toyota Camry and Corolla. Also what stole the show was a 'super car inspired' Toyota Concept "FT1". FT1 stands for Future Toyota (technology).

Akash, It seems most of the cars are not open for public access. How would you overall compare this event with Indian Auto Expo?

Is anything from Honda, Chevy? I heard that GM closes the Chevy in Europe & US? Is it true?
Chevrolet was there however I must admit they had a not a very big setup.

Nice coverage Akash and excellent pics buddy !! I liked that blue Toyota corolla and VW golf.
Yeah, the new Corolla is indeed a looker, but wait. Lots more to come which would surely switch your favorites.

Well, thats the best part of NYIAS. Most of the new launches had a separate display car accessible to the general public as well. However, there were a few models which were locked, mostly the concepts.

Excellent set of pictures & coverage Akash. The pics of new Ford Mustang has literally made me drool. Some amazing new vehicles lined up there. Ford Edge has caught my attention as well. Looks pretty good. Did you get to see the Chevy Trax? If yes, How does it fair against TAI car of the year for 2013 - Ford Ecosport?
